| 320034 | 2005-02-01 03:17:00 | Dial up from the other computer (with your username and password), - create a dialup icon with your details, and login to Outlook (if youre going to be in the same country that is): If youre in NZ and not going overseas to go and access email. | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||

This does not make an awful lot of sense to me, what are you trying to say. You don't have to be in the same country to access a pop3 mail account. I think what they are trying to do is access mail already received in OE from another computer which of course they can't do. They could setup the mail account in OE on another computer or use Web Mail to receive any new messages. |

| 320036 | 2005-02-01 04:39:00 | Well u can actually login to another pc or someone else's pc and get your own email. As long as u create a dialup on that pc / log in and get it. And I spose if u create a new identity in OE you can as well. |

| 320037 | 2005-02-01 04:45:00 | My question, How can I access my outlook express e'mails from another computer. XP home thxAs already mentioned, once you have downloaded your emails onto a computer, you cannot access them from another computer. If you want to use a different computer to check for new emails, you need to configure an outlook express account with your ISP pop server details so that you can download them. If you select to leave a copy of the email on the server (can outlook express do this??), this means you will be able to re-download the same emails onto your normal computer later as well. The other option is to use your ISP webmail interface. You go to your ISP homepage and if you log into the webmail section, you can view/send/delete emails without having to download them into outlook express. This method is tidier and you can use it from any internet capable computer. :) |

And I spose if u create a new identity in OE you can as well. I am still confused about what you are trying to say. You don't have to create a new dialup account to log into a mail server. If the computer already has a means of connecting to the internet you only have to setup the mail account in OE or better still just login to your normal ISP web mail system |

| 320039 | 2005-02-01 04:51:00 | Forget it Safari. Obviously you havent tried it to find out. As Jen says u can also do it thru your ISP, if they have an email interface / login there. |

What is it I haven't tried - you are talking in riddles again. I was trying very hard to try to understand what you were trying to say and it made no sense at all and if I was confused then it was just confusing others as well. I mentioned using the ISP web mail in my first post if you have a look. I am not aware of any ISP's who do not have this available. |

| 320041 | 2005-02-01 07:19:00 | Not so simple it seems . I just had a look at xtra and it would appear you have to subscribe to their Secure Remote E'mail for $2.50 a month to access your e'mail from a non xtra i.s.p. and then reconfigure the computer to be able to download the e'mails. I dont think the cyber cafes would like that? | jarob (7088) | ||
