| 319996 | 2005-02-01 00:55:00 | Computer start up freeze My computer shuts down O.K. But when I switch on it freezes. The monitor does not activate but when switched gives the following "No signal imput or cable disconnected". The reset button will not operate nor will the computer "power switch". The only optrion is to switch off at the power point. Following switch off and resumption of power the computer boots up normally. F.W.J.M. |

If you have any power adaptor plugs (besides the ones from the power supply), in the case, these things can sometimes come out, and stop the system from booting. And I've had to do the same thing or open the case, and fix one of these adapters, (make sure the wires are in these plugs properly), then on/off on the front of the case works. Which I'll have to fix sooner or later! I dont have the monitor no signal prob. When mine happens sometimes (not all the time), it just doesnt turn on! When u press on/off coz of these stupid adapters. I dont think your prob is freezing, it sounds like power isnt getting to something, so the power on/off button doesnt work. |

| 319998 | 2005-02-01 01:32:00 | Hi Had the same problem. I was using "Shut Down" to turn off the PC and using the switch on the front of the monitor to turn it off. Leaving the monitor on (in standby) solved the problem (still "Shut Down" the PC). hth |
