If your motherboard uses VIA chipsets, then the VIA All-In-One needs to be installed but it requires testing either the new or older drivers, as sometimes the older ones will solve the issues. Same goes with your nVidia drivers, testing newer or older drivers. I have not had this problem in a while now, and use to get this say in 2002? It's quite possible updates to the operating system solved the errors, but at that time, these were the only solutions I had that worked. Cheers, KK |

| 319956 | 2006-08-30 21:25:00 | I started getting this error when my laptop fell off of my bed. It came up when I tried to start windows xp pro, and when starting in safe mode the blue scree came up with "page fault in non paged area". After this I tried reinstalling windows, but after reformatting the hard drive the installation cannot install files and stops with another blue screen that goes so fast I cant read the error. Anyone have an idea of where to start on this one? | kamakookie (7074) | ||

Problem seemed to start just around the time I installed Media Player 11 - but that may be a coincidence . I have reinstalled XP and so far so good . However a soon as I go to put SP2 on the computer either crashes or occasionally gives an error message with no specific information . If tried in safe mode doesn't crash but get the error message . Taken out all devices from PCI slots except graphics card (needed for screen) and tried different mouse/keyboard etc . It is RD RAM and don't have any more of that to try if that is the issue . Will try another graphics card at some point . Anything else worth giving a go cause looks like its poked otherwise . |

A system can reboot continuously, if Spyware is on a system and after SP2 has been installed. Scan for Spyware. |

A system can reboot continuously, if Spyware is on a system and after SP2 has been installed . Scan for Spyware . The message I get for SP2 install is "file is corrupt" . Doesn't matter whether I use the SP2 disk or download it off the net, same result . I'll try the spyware search - but it did have Pest Patrol and several others on it before I reformatted . Seems to run Knoppix ok so if there is a hardware fault it doesn't appear to impact on Knoppix . |

| 319963 | 2006-11-24 16:22:00 | Heey, another one with problems :p I also get the "IRQL not less or equal" error. I tried another videocard, tried to reinstall windows, formatted my HD's, again tried to install windows, but even during installation the screen turns blue and gives the error. Some guys with a PC-shop couldn't find the problem. They say "it isn't the hardware, maybe you should try to reinstall windows with another copy?" tried again (with 2 other copies) and still it's that message that turns up! So now I'm stuck with a PC without windows. Some one know how to fix this??? |
