| 320042 | 2005-02-01 07:26:00 | You don't need to download your emails to view them. Just go to the Xtra webmail login page (http://xtramail.xtra.co.nz/), enter in your details and then view all your emails online in a web based email program. You can do this from any computer. Is there a specific reason why you need to physically download the emails to a computer? | Jen (38) | ||
| 320043 | 2005-02-01 07:26:00 | Yes Xtra are about the only ISP which has this restriction. You have to be connected with them to login to the mail server. All other ISP,s allow access from any connection. If you are using cyber cafes just go to the Xtra web site and login to web mail http://xtramail.xtra.co.nz/ |

| 320044 | 2005-02-01 07:26:00 | webmail is the way to go cause often isp's dont like you 'piggybacking' using a dial up account of some competitor to collect your pop3 mail......as for speedy well I'm confuseled toooooo.........how the hell aside from using a program like 'vnc' or 'goto my pc' or 'pc anywhere' do you collect mail that is already in another pc ?.......and even then sure it's possible but you'd have to make sure the other pc was on at the time.......and if you in another country......that's tricky.......... | drcspy (146) | ||
