320376 2005-02-01 07:18:00 Has anyone been using it?
If so, what do you think?
Are there any issues?

320377 2005-02-01 07:19:00 Well i tried it, and removed it. There are better AV programs around. Speedy Gonzales (78)
320378 2005-02-01 07:22:00 I've found it OK. What didn't you like? Which program do you use? KiwiLinc (6595)
320379 2005-02-01 07:25:00 I use Nortons Internet security 2003, and trojan remover. Nothing wrong with Microsoft's. BUT not worth using it, if u have something already. Speedy Gonzales (78)
320380 2005-02-01 07:26:00 I used it and it found one thing. I then ran Adaware and spybot and between them they found about a dozen things that MS missed. However I will try it for a bit longer. lark (1313)
320381 2005-02-01 07:46:00 It's like anything, it has Pros and Cons.

Some weedsprays will kill everything including the lawn, others will kill specific ranges of plants, some you might as well water the garden with them.

MS AntiSpyware seems pretty reasonable, remembering it wasn't their product - they just bought it and put their name on it. So like Visio it could be extremely good.

Well i tried it, and removed it. There are better AV programs around.
To be clear it is not an AntiVirus program. It is specifically targeted at Ad/SpyWare.

320382 2005-02-01 07:48:00 Tried it and removed it as it appeared to be blocking some innocuous sites. Have spybot and adaware so it's just another program to take up space.... hated the bright orange 'bullseye' icons too :( Shortcircuit (1666)
320383 2005-02-01 07:52:00 Well whatever it is I use other programs. Nortons and trojan remover deal with spyware and trojans/viruses. as well. Speedy Gonzales (78)
320384 2005-02-01 10:04:00 It's bound to have additional functionality compared to the original, pre MS, version :horrified Murray P (44)

They are useless at detecting adware and spyware (but they don't target that anyhow),at best they may pick up a browser hijack,

On a 1-to-10 scale of having your back side covered, I would say your about to get Rogered.
