| 1364453 | 2014-01-06 23:22:00 | Hi All, I was given a 50"-or-so LCD TV which I use only for watching movies. I've been through the on-screen menus till the cows come home but when I set 'PICTURE' Mode to 'Movie', after some minutes that part of the menu reverts to the default 'Dynamic' Mode. In the downloaded manual there's something about a 'Start Plug & Play' basic settings dialog being displayed on start-up, with an option to click OK etc. So far I've not been able to see or locate this dialog. Got me beat. Any ideas anyone? Much appreciated! |

| 1364455 | 2014-01-07 00:18:00 | Thanks Ken. I've reset it under 'Picture' Mode, then selected the 'Movie' option in the drop-down menu. Then pressed the 'Enter' button followed by the 'Return' button. We'll see if it reverts to 'Dynamic' mode in a few minutes. | braindead (1685) | ||

My Sanyo channel selections would not stick for more than a few days so I tried the F.R. and so far so good, everything is staying as set. Might work for you........ Cheers Billy 8-{) |

| 1364458 | 2014-01-07 23:04:00 | Thanks Billy T. The earlier wide-screen analogs from Samsung don't appear to have a global reset in their soft menu. IOW, changed settings revert to their defaults on power down. I prefer the more cinematic look of 'Movie' compared to the oversaturated 'Dynamic' setting. | braindead (1685) | ||
