1363473 2013-12-23 23:13:00 I've got about an 8th of an acre back yard... its mostly weeds, noxious plants, mint, and more weeds. The weeds are so high I guess there's hidden jurassic reptiles in there, along with a long lost tribe of elephants. Super sized ones.

I want to kill every living organism back there... is Roundup the most cost effective solution?

Please help :dogeye:

1363474 2013-12-23 23:19:00 Cost effective huh.....
Do you want anything else to grow there again?

If not then the easiest and cheapest way is salt.

1363475 2013-12-23 23:33:00 Um... you sure salt is cheaper than any other weed killer? And yep, I'm positive I want everything growing there, including missing dinosaurs, dead. Never to revive. Greg (193)
1363476 2013-12-23 23:38:00 Roundup will get most but you can add stuff to get the clover,Farmlands or similar could help here

Don't use salt if you want to grow anything in the future as it buggers the soil

1363477 2013-12-23 23:57:00 Round up is used by farmers to kill grass and weeds in a paddock b4 sowing various crops, so should be alright for your back yard.
I buy it at $12 liter, you will pay about $20.

Ah I notice you want nothing to grow there again, roundup only last a few weeks.

Yes you can use roundup on a goat, but it doesn't do much.
