| 1363502 | 2013-12-24 08:48:00 | I moved a house onto my section a few years back. I had to put drains in as well turn a yard of weeds into lawn. I firstly sprayed the long grass with roundup and left it for a few months before I got stuck in levelling the yards with a spade, rotary hoe and the lawn mower. Weed killer does not last for long before new grass regenerates. I did re-seed after doing the spade work and rotary hoeing. The dead grass did not compost too well. |
