1363442 2013-12-28 21:45:00 I got some outdoor speakers from my wife.

Hooked it up to the Onkyo, it then turns out that Zone 2 can't play digital inputs through Zone 2, it only does analog (Like CD input and FM radio etc) so that rules out my HDMI input. Bit of a bugger coz I pretty much only use HDMI... So off on Boxing Day to Jaycar to get a splitter / selector :D

Very happy! Will post pix later!

My Onkyo can play digital inputs through Zone 2, but in the process Zone 1 only plays in stereo. Quite annoying.

1363447 2014-01-06 00:49:00 Um...the...I'll have to check when I get home.

When I say digital inputs I mean the optical and coaxial, my unit is slightly older and doesn't have HDMI, possibly this behaves differently?
