And I thought we were heading for global warming !

That new BBC tv series "The Continents: is very good it shows how the continents have all moved around A LOT!

I worked that out when I was a boy looking at a map of the world on my bedroom wall.

It was. But due to events like this, they have now changed it to climate change.

As for more often - on what scale? On a planetary scale it's not often....

OK, so he beat me by a fe years.

But that doco showed how the position of the continents affected their weather far more than global warming or cooling. (Although it did not say that, but you could see it just by watching it

Yes I always wondered why so many people emigrated to Canada from Europe, rather than say to Australia or NZ or South Africa.
