| 1378746 | 2014-07-08 01:53:00 | I'm away from home and left my usb mouse behind. I've been loaned a Microsoft wireless mouse but its not recognised. Never used a wireless device before. I'm using my Win 8.1 lappie, and it's frustrating the crap out of me having to use the touchpad. I have the mouse itself, but no driver disk. |

| 1378748 | 2014-07-08 03:27:00 | Most have a receiver / dongle that you plug into a USB port. Have you got the receiver? :+1: Also look under the mouse in the battery compartment, some have a place to store the receiver in there. If it's blu-tooth you have to pair it etc, bit more involved. |
