| 320519 | 2005-02-02 07:17:00 | Heh, kinda same with me. Except mine unless I use CoolerXP, mine idles at about ~ 65 degrees. When it hits 70 it does a kernal dump thing, then restarts. Zipping a file can be anough to crash it. Yeah i used coolerXP on my old system however I found that used a ton of memory....I was running 1.25GB and that was getting close to maxxed out and cpu usage was also at max with coolerxp. Added a couple of fans to the case and made sure the hot air coming out the rear of the case could go somewhere and it made a hell of a diff....no more coolerxp |

Yes, of course cpu usage is max with CoolerXP, that is how it works. Everything that is not being used is stuck onto that, and it makes it idle or something, as it is meant for use with the motherboards that don't support the halt command.... correct me if i'm wrong :rolleyes: It uses about 4mb of ram on my system |
