320555 2005-02-02 03:03:00 what ram are useing/tried and what powersupply do u have ?
edit: cheak its not one of those boards that has a minimum fan RPM cutoff. ie fan dosn't spin fast enough or get up to full speed quick enough so the mobo shuts down.

320557 2005-02-02 03:30:00 Is the videocard onboard or an AGP / PCI card?

If u have a spare try another videocard.

Have u tried another videocard, or tried the monitor on something else?? If u have another computer?

It might even be a loose connection somewhere. Check ALL cables.

And power connections.

320559 2005-02-02 03:47:00 BUT is there onboard video on the motherboard??

If so, did u disable it in the BIOS, before u installed the AGP or PCI videocard??

320560 2005-02-02 03:57:00 if i remeber correctly the p3 800 has a fsb of 133 so you really need to use pc133 ram. also check any mobo settings for the cpu (try underclocking if at all possible).

also a 100w psu is way to small (i'm suprised you could even find one) but the 400w will be fine.
