321392 2005-02-04 05:29:00 :help: I have a compaq presario S5020AN computer and with it the software for program compatibility wizard it runs but the commands at the bottom wont work the buttons are faded out and when i try to click onto the "next" button to go onto the next page where it asks where the program is, it does nothing, but when i click on the cancel button it cancells it and works, please help anyone? i need to run a program for my course its on cdrom and i cant access it with winxp cause it says (heading)16 bit windows subsystem c:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. choose "close" to terminate the application. lisamarie01 (6731)

321394 2005-02-04 10:17:00 as well as johnboys suggestion, do a forum search on autoexec.nt as your problem has been discussed before with many solutions given, one may work for you beama (111)
321395 2005-02-04 10:47:00 woohoo did that thanks and i got the prog running, which is awsome, BUT can anyone still help me i hate things not working on my computer lol, the program compatibility wizard still doesnt show those buttons and wont work. thanks! lisamarie01 (6731)
