321147 2005-02-03 10:21:00 :help: Every time I try to install Adaware (free version) I am told to llog on as Administrator or it won't install.

I am the bloody administrator, and I am logged on as the administrator.

Oh, and can any guide me to some software that will interact/react to my swearing and abuse aimed at my PC in a way that is satisfying for me? :help:

321148 2005-02-03 11:49:00 Goto Start Memu->Run->compmgmt.msc

Check out the user management there and make sure you are a member of the administrators group (try making up a another account and using that)
Perhaps some piece of existing spyware is messing with the install process or has altered you security policies in a wierd way.

No software solution that i know of, But if you place your comp near floor hight you can violently kick it during your ranting.

To help with your frustrations - you can smash your computer screen quite safely or have it burned with a flame thrower or eaten by termites, depending on your fancy.
Last year I posted details of a free software programme for that. Rather than do a Press F1 Search, I tried Google a few minutes ago for "smash the screen," just out of curiosity.
Lo & Behold - there's the very thread under PC World Forums ( No 6 scrolling down ) It gives choices, but I can recommend that version for either releasing frustrations or for sheer infantile fun.
Happy smashing....
