321053 2005-02-06 02:19:00 Sorry my PSU is Auriga not augura. When I first put the video card in and was having the no video input problem I think that was because the clip that clicks in wasn't clicking in properly :illogical but I am still having problems with games freezing for up to 3 seconds. Would this PSU be causing me problems? ad_267 (6193)
321054 2005-02-06 05:04:00 i sorta had similar probs, i ended up thinkin that it was the drivers clashing, try a fresh install of windows (last resort before buying new gear) :) Prescott (11)
321055 2005-02-06 05:48:00 Yup. your PSU is the most likely problem.

I say you get a new $150-200 PSU. Also USE DRIVER CLEANER and update your motherboards dirvers, and bios. And use the Nvidia 67.03 Beta drivers - thery are the best for the 6600GTs

wait right there, do you know if there is a known bios problem and a upgrade will fix it? too many people think that a bios flash will solve everything, right until they cant boot up their pc.......

321057 2005-02-21 07:08:00 Thanks everyone, I finally got my new PSU today and everythings as smooth as a gravy sandwich. I ran driver cleaner and reinstalled windows and neither helped and I wasn't going to update my BIOS. I got a new Thermaltake 420watt PSU from Ascent and everythings crankin even with my 2.4GHz processor and 512 MB of RAM. ad_267 (6193)
