| 321739 | 2005-02-05 04:54:00 | Hi friends, got a movie in xvid avi format. Vey shock by shock display in media player. Was advised to download codec from Koepis xvid binaries, that came as an exe file and installed itself. Alternative was a program called FFDSHOW filter. Did that too. They are now installed on my C-drive. Movie still shocking though. How do I get Windows media to use these codecs, how does media know that there are other codecs available on my disk? Probably a stupid question, thought you could maybe help me? Thanks Johan |
