| 321631 | 2005-02-04 19:06:00 | Morning all. Chill - loved your message! What I'd give to be able to send a message like that to a few of my clients at work.... Anyway, simple question, with I'm sure simple answers. Here goes: Can I right-click / delete / remove from Recycle Bin all the Zip icons on my desktop without harming in any way the files on my computer? I'm assuming yes, as these are (presumably) short-cuts, but would like to hear first from a few bods who know something about computers! Cheers Tim |

| 321632 | 2005-02-04 19:13:00 | Hi Tim If you right click on the icons and go into properties, you will be able to see whether these are shortcut icons. If they are zipped icons, they might be original zipped installers which you have left sitting on the desktop in which case you can delete them, although if you wish to use them to reinstall again with at same stage, putting them on a backup CD for safe keeping might be a good idea. |
