Whilst he may be of help sometimes, I believe, the majority of the time, he is a cynical, sarcastic person. He always has to harrass people who ask stupid questions/who are newbies. It seems he takes pleasure in doing this. Grow up Metla, this is supposed to be a happy place. You are entitled to an opion, however, you are not entitled to be abusive towards other members. I'll be nice now, as Chill, your an awesome mod, keep up the good work :) I believe this thread was required. Altec_ Boo hoo. :groan: :groan: If you need to have a '*****' with another member of the forum why not use the PM function? :rolleyes: Metla is one of the most entertaining guys on the forum, whereas you are not. He has also been here a lot longer than you, so everyone should just take your mighty opinion with a large grain of salt. I think both he and Jen, and BB of course, are excellent Mods for the record, but this thread sort of seems a duplicate of an Announcement .. ? Anyway I don't think Metla is very bad with "snide remarks". The occasional patronisation but we all can't help ourselves sometimes. Of course, what we think about people like that, without naming names, isn't really important - just our opinion. Ultimately it is up to Mods to decide, we can agree or disagree but others will always think differently. |

| 321514 | 2005-02-05 11:18:00 | Personally -----and this is my PERSONAL opinion------- I find general negativity, dullness, and casual putdowns far sadder than the debatably inappropriate posts of those who say what they mean and don't give a toss if it's offensive or not. I've allways liked that in people. I had a flatmate once who was utterly hated by half the people he met. This was because he said EXACTLY what he thought of people, and of course, not many people liked that. I liked him for the simple reason that he said exactly what he thought of people, and of course that meant there was no bull, and in the longer term, i prefer to know where i stand. :D For the record, me is 42 years, shoe size = 11, just in case anyone thinks this might matter. |

If you had the ability to see that just because you don't like something or someone doesn't make the person bad then things would be smoother. Personally I believe you deserve more then the slight digs people take at you, But your a lost cause.Can I get an amen? Amen! |

BANG...." cops in USA say "stop or ill shoot BANG BANG.....BANG" i like the USA way of doing it. A threat is only good it you use it. |
