321995 2005-02-06 06:38:00 Just read at NZHerald.co.nz that Adobe 7 (including the reader) has been released, and I haven't seen anything about it here.

So if anybody is interested, it can be downloaded from here (www.adobe.com). Its quite big compared to old versions (12mb+ for the smallest download option), and I haven't downloaded it to see what its like yet :)

Mike.

321996 2005-02-06 06:45:00 I've downloaded and installed it on a couple of PC's at work. It looks quite good and is reasonably fast to open. When you are downloading it, make sure you read about all the extra software that is selected by default to be included in the download, and remove the ticks if you don't want them. The automatic add-on's are a for dialup connections a "Adobe Yahoo! Toolbar" and for a broadband connection an additional "Photoshop Album 2.0 Starter Edition" software package. Jen (38)
321997 2005-02-06 07:05:00 It's very fast - well worth the upgrade. somebody (208)

321999 2005-02-06 07:52:00 Is it likely to still cause problems with Mozilla firefox?

As everytime i go googling and open anything with adobe, my pc locks up something chronic, and end up logging off, (if able) dont lose internet or MSN, just cant do anything with it.

So i have not bothered updating it or using it if possible.

I haven't heard of anyone else with that problem (anyone out there in PressF1 Land experienced it?) . Both v6 and v7 have always worked fine on the four PCs I am familiar with that use Firefox and A Reader . Three of the four PCs use XP Pro and the other XP Home . Oner double boots with Linux and there is no prob there either .

Perhaps there is something amiss with the installation on your beast?
