| 322451 | 2005-02-07 09:06:00 | Hello there... a while back there was a thread on the above topic with some very useful tips on setting up for the job. Now that I need it I can't find the right words to put into the search box. Can anyone help me find it? I want to run a little program that I made in Locomotive Basic on an early Amstrad 6128. With a few mods it has followed me through 3 computers, the last one on Win98 but so far no luck on XP. It does open, but with a lowsy font and only on half the screen. In Win98 I could set it up in properties I think it was but haven't had any success yet with xp. Any help would be good. Cheers Ken :) | paradox (1082) | ||

| 322453 | 2005-02-07 19:47:00 | Paradox If the program is listed under Start, right click it, and select the Compatibility tab. Tick the box under Compatibility Mode, and you might have to tick the boxes next to 256 colours and run in 640 x 480 resolution. If you have a shortcut to the file, right click the shortcut and proceed as above. Oxie (Lyn) |
