| 322421 | 2005-02-07 07:12:00 | I ordered the new 2mb Blink plan about 8 days ago. Can someone tell me if I should hear a different tone on an unfiltered line - I may then be able to tell when it has been provisioned. I am also awaiting the 'free' hardware once Telecom notify iHug of the completion of the connection and therefore I am unable to connect any equipment to see if it has been provisioned. I am curious, perhaps someone on the forum may be able to tell us how the provisioning process works - does someone physically have to visit the local switch and make some connections or is it all done remotely via a keyboard? (if that's the case they are very slow typists :D ) Alister |

| 322422 | 2005-02-07 07:40:00 | I signed up with Ihug on Jan 25th and the Telecom guy called around home late this morning to do all the necessary wiring. Now I guess I just wait until Ihug courier me the wireless router. Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow :thumbs: |

| 322423 | 2005-02-07 07:55:00 | When I signed up for Bliink I didn't need any wireing done, but I was told It takes Telecom 10 working days to switch you on. It actualy took 15 days.I also signed up for an adsl modem. After sending them half a dozen e-mails I was finaly told they won't send it until I'm switched on. God only knows why. After I was switched on still no modem. After phoneing them I was told I woul have to wait about six weeks for the modem. Guess what I told them to do with their modem. So I bought a modem. When I phoned their help desk for help setting it up. I was told "We don't support a Belkin modem." So I had to sort it out myself. Once I got going no problems. Jack |
