| 321920 | 2005-02-06 02:49:00 | Hi all, Have managed to lay my hands on a few games (although I'm not a gamer), and thought I might utilize an unused PIII 450Mhz with 512 Mb of PC133 SDRAM. I currently have a Matrox Millenium G200 8 Mb Video card with a 3D G200A accelerator in an AGP slot. The diagnostics say that I am currently using x1 athough the system supports x2 AGP speed. (I don't know the process for changing this, or is it card related and the system picks it up "automagickally"?) The games are: Return to Wolfenstein, Duke Nukem 3D, Duke Nukem Manhattan Project, Kyodai Mahjongg, Crimson Skies, Generals, Serious Sam, Vietnam Black Ops. Tried to load Wolfenstein and it won't accept the Graphics layout. Something about not picking up the pixel rate on the screen. Am I doing something wrong, (or not doing something as the case may be), while installing, or do I need to look at a different graphics card? Grateful for any suggestions. Ken |

Anyway check out this: matrox drivers (www.matrox.com) Also on that page is a link to game patches so they may actually work with the G200. Make sure your directx version is current and motherbaord drivers are current: intel chipset (support.intel.com) |

Downloaded the Wolfenstein utility and a Matrox AGP driver. Will post a result when I have transfered them over to the oher machine. Thanks for your time. Ken |

| 321925 | 2005-02-06 18:47:00 | Have downloaded the files indicated by Gibler. The chipset support is for a different chip but it seems to have updated successfully. Haven't reloaded Wolfenstein and the support download yet. Work calls and play must take a back seat. Catch you later. | Sapperbro (6562) | ||
