| 322587 | 2005-02-07 23:41:00 | Hi, I know there's probably a lot of threads on this, but I went to them and I'm still having trouble. When I try to play any audio file I get this error message- "A device ID has been used that is out of range for your system." All the other threads I looked at were only helping people with Windows 98. I have Windows XP and can't find a solution for this problem. Please Help! | katrina898 (7188) | ||
| 322588 | 2005-02-08 00:36:00 | Are you sing 2 soundcards? Sounds like a IRQ conflict / address is wrong somehwre. Go to device manager / soundcard. click on it, tell us what it says here. Or try deleting the entry for the soundcard and reboot. See what happens. |
