If you have the Microsoft Security Update CD that was released last year, that would be a big help. | 322828 | 2005-02-10 09:08:00 | Hi Terry Thanks for your help. My friend doesn't want internet access so once all the periphials are getting along OK - her PC should go well. I've just relaoded Win98se and all is OK so far. The OS is coming up fine and shutting down is almost instant! How great things would be without the need for virus scanners, pop-up stoppers, firewalls and the like..... Next I'll load the M/B drivers... but that's tomorrow... Again, thanks to all for their help - much appreciated. |
