| 322754 | 2005-02-08 19:33:00 | Morning, I just got woken up by my mom very concerned about what happened on her computer last night. She was running mozilla 1.1.2 and when she opened the browser it insisted on a update but before it even did this all her bookmarks and email had vanished. Mom is fairly sure that it was a genuine update with the address being right but I am doubtful that is was real seeing it forced an update with no option of cancelling and it lost the data from her profile. Does anyone else know of any problems/virus/auto update with mozilla. I have never heard of this before. We are running dsl through a router with all ports (1-1024) except 80 (going to my computer) being virtually served to a dud ip address as well as that mom is running zone alarm and avasit antivirus. Windows 98se fully updated 750mhz amd (athlon?) 256mb ram 20gb hd |

| 322756 | 2005-02-09 04:30:00 | You might find that your Mum's Mozilla is now using a new default profile after the update which would explain why her personal books/emails are no longer visible. Follow the guide on this page here (www.mozilla.org) and see if you can find her previous profile and put it back as default. | Jen (38) | ||
