Well he used to restore disk to a different computer (problem) now it seems that this only affected the vidio aspect of The Pc (well as of now anyhow) it still starts up and makes its normal sounds ( not that sounds are good... they are when your used to hearing them) as soon as the disk he used started to do whatever it was it wanted to do ( i wasnt there so i couldnt tell you... and hes computer illitarate he has no idea ) the screen went blank... i have tried removeing and reinserting the vidio card... and a few other ideas i had... What can i do??? im willing to spend alittle cash if needed only because he uses this computer every day at work. HELP |

| 322657 | 2005-02-08 03:20:00 | Is there any reason why you can't simply use the correct restore disk? That should put it back the way it was and restore the correct video drivers etc. If you don't have the original restore disk, you are not going to be able to go back to the way it was, however you might be able to get it working. Have you tried booting into safe mode, or does the screen go blank before it can even boot that far? Some system details might be useful. Cheers Billy 8-{) |
