| 322844 | 2005-02-08 23:07:00 | Hi, I have been sent three nice photos through my Hotmail account - I took a look at them, saved them to my hard drive, and deleted the email, as the sheer size of the photos was eating up my Hotmail space. Now, when I go into my hard drive to look at them - I CAN'T! The thumbnail just shows the "Paint Shop Pro 6" Icon, and no preview can be generated - no matter which program I use! I know I saved these files to my computer using the correct procedures, as i'm not a total ape. The data is all there (each photo is about 200kb) but I just can't see the photos! Any ideas? You may enlighten me.... |

| 322846 | 2005-02-08 23:19:00 | It probably was actually another file type e.g. html with a link to an image or a TIFF file. Try Irfab View (www.tucows.com) |

| 322848 | 2005-02-09 02:10:00 | Check the files are in fact JPG If you are using Win XP do following Start | Control Panel | Folder Options | File Types Scroll down list and cl on JPG, this will tell you which programme is used to open JPG Some images are tiff in which case check for tiff extension. You may possibly not have a programme for tiff. Pretty sure there is a method of saving tiff as a jpg. |
