323049 2005-02-09 18:16:00 I have been using ScanSoft's Dragon NaturallySpeaking Preferred Version 8 for a little over a month - on a new notebook with XP Professional SP2.

The problem is when closing Internet Explorer or Word (main two apps I use), both of them crash.

ScanSoft has been of little help - other than completely uninstall and reinstall, including registry cleanup etc. - all of which is being done more than once. This is of course on my first support ticket, which is free - all others are cost - not impressed so far....

Has anybody had experience with this product version and similar issues?
