323992 2005-02-11 15:33:00 help!!something has stolen system ini from msconfig. :help: B B (6979)
323993 2005-02-11 18:01:00 You saying the entire system.ini tab is now missing from msconfig? This on XP? Have you scanned for viruses? What happens when you search for system.ini manually? Jen (38)
323994 2005-02-11 20:36:00 What did you do before this file was "nicked"?

Download a lot of crudware?

Do a massive fiddle around in your comp?

Seems pretty odd the file should just disappear.

323995 2005-02-11 21:32:00 Try this click start and in the run box type sfc /scannow there is a space after sfc this will run the windows file checker and will ask for your installation cd if it finds any missing or corrupted files.
You could also try a system restore if you knew when then thing went missing.?
Have a look in the faq for removing spyware just in case.
