I've got a pc problem which i hope this forum can assist me. basically, i've got no sound after i formatted the drive. In the device manager, the ethernet controller and the USB controller has a question mark on it because it hasn't located it's driver.

the ethernet is Intel. :)

If you made this system up, the drivers for the sound / lan will be on the motherboard CD. Depending on what USB u have (1.1 or USB 2), and what operating system u have. (If XP), you need SP1 or SP2, if u have USB 2 onboard.

If you didnt make this system up, you'll have to find out what the brand/model of the motherboard is, go to the maker's site and download and install the LAN and sound drivers.

What operating system have u got, and do you know if there's USB 1.1 or 2 onboard?? Try deleting the USB entries in device manager and reboot. See what happens then.
