| 324704 | 2005-02-13 20:27:00 | HI I've got a pc problem which i hope this forum can assist me. basically, i've got no sound after i formatted the drive. In the device manager, the ethernet controller and the USB controller has a question mark on it because it hasn't located it's driver. the ethernet is Intel. :) |

| 324705 | 2005-02-13 20:32:00 | Welcome to PF1 WestMclaren! If you made this system up, the drivers for the sound / lan will be on the motherboard CD. Depending on what USB u have (1.1 or USB 2), and what operating system u have. (If XP), you need SP1 or SP2, if u have USB 2 onboard. If you didnt make this system up, you'll have to find out what the brand/model of the motherboard is, go to the maker's site and download and install the LAN and sound drivers. What operating system have u got, and do you know if there's USB 1.1 or 2 onboard?? Try deleting the USB entries in device manager and reboot. See what happens then. |
