| 324384 | 2005-02-12 06:10:00 | post screen - do u mean the bit that it had the rams and detects for dvd/cd roms ? if so yea i can see that bit but it is just take ages to detect my dvd rom when my hard drive is plug in to the motherboard and takes longer to pass the detecting hard drive stage. about the starting up, at 1st it can load <and loading> to windows but as i said now it cant dected the hard drive and when hard drive is plugin it restarts once it get pass the analysing lan, it doesnt even let me in to dos for a disk start up, unless i remove the hard disk then i can access dos with a startup disk. |

| 324388 | 2005-02-14 04:23:00 | SATA probably needs to be enabled in the bios. Reseting the bios returns it to it original state which does not have SATA enabled. I am not familiar with this mobo so I can't say for sure but that is how it works in mine. You may also need to replace your CMOS battery. | 324389 | 2005-02-21 23:28:00 | thanks for all your help, after restarting many times i some how, dont know y but it go in windows and found the hard drive but i ran VERY VERY SLOW take like 2 to 3 mins to load in to windows, but since it was running i burned my files on DVD RWs and then i give my hard drive to the guy that sold it to me and couldnt find what went wrong too so he replace me with a new one :) phew | Canto (7280) | ||
