| 324451 | 2005-02-12 17:35:00 | Hi there!!! Have 2 PCs with updated Norton Antivirus. Last couple of days nevertheless got viruses on both. Also coud not download spyware removal software. Is it virus's job? BTW, I was told that if I use XP, I should use Norton 2002. Is there something? Does it mean not 2004 or 2005? |

| 324454 | 2005-02-12 21:26:00 | Norton 2002 will run on Win XP but it is getting a bit long in the tooth as an effective tool against newer viruses even if the definitions are kept up-to-date. You are probably better off installing AVG, Avast! or another free/paid anti-virus program rather than relying on an old version of Norton AV. | FoxyMX (5) | ||

| 324457 | 2005-02-13 00:00:00 | Also coud not download spyware removal software. Is it virus's job? check your host file. odds are the virus/malware has put entries into the host file blocking your access to those sites. |
