324997	2005-02-14 09:31:00	Big UBS outages. Mine was off and on for about 6 hours, when I came home from school, I checked the status of my router, it said "PAP Authentication Failed" I thought the RIANZ had got me. I rang Orcon and found that a power cut had destroyed a router. Then later on in the night, the story changed to software problems. As for Orcon, I submitted an email to David Russel of the Consumer's Institute about the problems recently with UBS. No one will be receiving a discount even though speeds have been near dialup. Thats BS if you ask me. (Look out for my letter maybe in the next issue :D) Anyone else affected by this? (I did look for other threads quickly, but didn't find any, so no flaming if there already is one :)) Altec_	Altec_ (2950)
324998	2005-02-14 09:36:00	Do you check the Orcon's forum?? Many people including myself, have been encouraging people to complain to the Commerce Commission about the situation. I have made plenty of threads trashing Orcon and the pitiful excuse of a connection they are providing...	Kenshin (2501)
324999	2005-02-14 09:46:00	Yeah they had outtages for several hours, but all seems better now. They're probably not lying when they said at first equipment failure, then software, because the connection did come on briefly in between.	Greg (193)
