| 325850 | 2005-02-17 03:05:00 | Hello, I am a first year student and am looking at buying the Compaq Notebook PRESARIO 2268AP: Intel Celeron-M 330 (1.4GHz) 15" XGA display 256MB memory 40GB hard drive DVD+-R/RW optical drive $1,899.99 Anyone any thoughts if this is a good deal, i would be getting it from "Bond and Bond". | 325856 | 2005-02-17 09:32:00 | I have had a look around, i don’t really want to pay more than $2,000, i will not do anything intensely with graphics more or less just simple internet, music ect.. Although this could change so i want it a little versatile . The main difference i see between the laptops is the CPU. Intel Celeron-M 330 (1.4GHz), Mobile AMD Athlon XP-M 2400+ CPU, Intel® Celeron® M processor 1.5GHz CPU. I am not really sure how each CPU compares and the differences? Cheers! |

| 325858 | 2005-02-17 11:01:00 | I would look into Acer brand laptops, nice low prices, sometimes better specs, you're quite limited to what you want. DSE have good prices on these but check Price Spy out, that would help too. Just make sure size of it and weight isn't too bad. As you'll be the one carrying it around. KK |

| 325859 | 2005-02-17 22:31:00 | How important is battery life? on the one i was looking at it has a min of 4 hrs and other laptops had only 2hrs for some of them! I want to be able to use the thing for longer than 2 hrs without charging so that becomes a factor! Cheers! |
