| 325699 | 2005-02-16 20:33:00 | I cant make a start up disk. It says to put win98se in drive, but i dont have the hard disk. Is there another way? I had a major crash a few months ago and my pc went to the shop. The win 98 hard disk i had wont work now, it was a quick restore for compaq, and my hard drive isn't partitioned anymore, so now i have nothing if i have anymore pc problems. | jonlinsmith (7340) | ||

But yet another way in Win 98 is to go to Start-Settings-Control Panel-Add/Remove Programs-StartUp Disk. Put a floppy disk in the drive and press Create button. | Terry Porritt (14) | ||
