325531 2005-02-16 03:41:00 can anyone tell me what this is under my power supply. its this plastic black plastic thingy???

I have a Pentium 3 SLOTTED CPU so maybe its got the fan under it or sumthing????


Also u can use Pentium 4 ATX power supply with a pentium 3 motherboard can't u????(i currently have a 200W ATX power supply)??? will any ATX power supply fit in the space where my 200W ATX power supply is???? ATX form factor is universal right????/

325533 2005-02-16 04:53:00 Can you get a clearer picture than that? Is the black thing you are mentioning, near the right-hand side of the PSU and hangs parallel to the left of that bundle of red wires?

You can also upload an image to ImageF1 (sal.neoburn.net) if that is more convenient.

You can use a P4 PSU on a P3 motherboard, you just ignore the extra powersupply motherboard plug that the P4 boards requires (can't remember its techincal term :rolleyes: )
