| 325765 | 2005-02-17 00:11:00 | A5 sized paper is no longer an option in my applications! I have a HP Laserjet 5L and have recently upgraded my computer. I have downloaded the XP driver from the HP web site. I can no longer choose A5 paper (it is not in the list of possible options). I used to run this printer under Windows ME & A5 was an option. Any ideas on how to get it back? ( I know I can enter a custom size but I use A5 paper a lot). thanks Anna |

| 325766 | 2005-02-17 06:42:00 | A search revealed that some people were complaining about the lack of A5 with XP (looks like they were going to use custom size). Seems like the paper size was the least of issues with some XP drivers - some have used NT 4 drivers instead. |

| 325768 | 2005-02-19 22:15:00 | thanks for your help everyone. :) I have loaded the NT printer driver & generally does the trick. Gives me A5 paper for new documents & prints existing ones OK . Only exception is I have a 2 page Word doc that I usually printed 2 pages per sheet & scaled to A5 - does the scaling OK but offsets the printing by about 6cm so misses the page! I will experiment with the other suggestd drivers. |

| 325769 | 2005-02-27 06:28:00 | I found that the HP Laserjet 5L (PCL) driver did the trick. Lots of built in sizes plus an option for a custom size. Don't know where I got mine but I found one listed here: printers.free-driver-download.com |
