325399 2005-02-15 22:06:00 Try this right click a picture then click open with click windows picture and fax viewer.
or choose program at the bottom and select what you want to open them with.
There is a tick box there which says always open with this program tick it if you always want this program to open them..

325402 2005-02-16 19:28:00 try these fixes
By default XP uses Windows Picture and Fax Viewer to preview pictures. .
Several programs when installed try to take over the role of picture preview. This is very difficult to reverse. Here's how you do it.

1. Click Start
2. Click Run
3. In the textbox type: regsvr32 shimgvw.dll
4. Click OK
You may or may not have to reboot to see your changes.
If this does'nt do it for you repeat the above with these
Regsvr32.exe /i shdocvw.dll
regsvr32.exe /i shdoc401.dll
regsvr32 /i occache.dll
To find the file extension right click the file and beside type of file is the ext or file type.
