When booting the computer the bios loads with the ok beep code and carrys on with the booting but after the bios the computer dosent go any further any help 1300 mhz 128 ram 128 ram 2 hdds |

Any error message such as "Non System Disk", did you change any cables around, for eg, Primary for secondary IDE channels, could be trying to boot off the secondary master/slave, etc. | Murray P (44) | ||

| 325348 | 2005-02-15 22:08:00 | also if you have the hdd and cdrom on the same ide, (data) cable then you may have plugged themn in wrong......the harddrive should be set as master and the cd as slave using the jumper pins on the drives.......if you have simply plugged then in EXACTLY the same as they WERE then there shouldn't be a prolbm | drcspy (146) | ||
