325345 2005-02-15 20:54:00 Do you see the BIOS loading, if not, is the display plugged in correctly. Any error message such as "Non System Disk", did you change any cables around, for eg, Primary for secondary IDE channels, could be trying to boot off the secondary master/slave, etc. Murray P (44)
325346 2005-02-15 21:42:00 i see the bios and i get past that.. after that the screen goses black... and says disk boot failure ? nadien (7331)
325347 2005-02-15 22:05:00 If theres an OS on the hdd go into the bios and change the bootdisk to the hdd. And take out the floppy if theres one in the drive. There maybe a floppy in the disk drive, but it isnt bootable. Hence that message. Speedy Gonzales (78)
325348 2005-02-15 22:08:00 also if you have the hdd and cdrom on the same ide, (data) cable then you may have plugged themn in wrong......the harddrive should be set as master and the cd as slave using the jumper pins on the drives.......if you have simply plugged then in EXACTLY the same as they WERE then there shouldn't be a prolbm drcspy (146)
