1365752 2014-01-21 23:43:00 I know I have my "senior moments" but have a look at the photo HERE (www.nzherald.co.nz) and then read the caption underneath ...

Let me know if you see something out of place ...

1365758 2014-01-22 01:58:00 Australian Speaker Bronwyn Bishop was seated with the men in the front right-hand side of the row (pictured with red shoes), in a break with Maori protocol. Photo / NZ Herald

We can't see the whole row. It doesn't say FAR right, just right, perhaps it is.....right of the rest not shown in the shot.

"front right-hand side of the row"
So that would be their RHS, not ours. So the caption is correct

That white protrusion, middle RHS (Our RHS) looks very odd. Almost as strange as his hat .

But on a serious note, is there still a place for blatant sexism in NZ. Just because its part of some ancient culture doesnt make it OK
And this was an official engagement, so what sort of message are we giving those who attend (especially females forced into the back rows).
This is 2014, not 1814 .

1365761 2014-01-22 05:33:00 Look again at the photo. She looks like to be only one of three women in the front row. Being picked on cause she is an Aussie?
