| 1365707 | 2014-01-21 13:24:00 | Just renewed my Nod32 and upgraded to Security Suite - I haven't ticked any boxes as Nod seems to do it seamlessly. Anything I should specifically check, except the anti-theft thingie? sarel |

| 1365708 | 2014-01-21 18:54:00 | Hi Sarel, If the upgrade was done by installing Eset Smart Security while Nod32 was still installed, then the previous settings should stay as is. There was a Post a short while back where I posted suggested settings to check, quite a few pictures - cant remember exactly which post, but if you can find it just double check. ( someones bound to have it book marked :) ) If using Smart Security, ( this is personal preference) set the firewall to interactive, that way you control any incoming or out going connections, and tick allow / disallow as required, you can also select to allow/disallow temporally if unsure then ask. To set Firewall - on the left Click Setup, then on the right click network ( personal firewall is listed) set to what you want - 5497 Anti-Theft - personal choice if you want to activate it or not. |
