| 1365548 | 2014-01-20 00:43:00 | Having recently decided to look at a new camera for my 21st (:D), I'm now looking at a Canon EOS 600D and an external microphone. Does anyone else use this camera, or any other recommendations? Not 100% sure what the budget is, but I'm not paying for it so meh :p |

| 1365552 | 2014-01-20 01:34:00 | Canon are leaps and bounds ahead (IMO) with video on DSLRs, so I would stick with Canon in that case. The 600D is fine. | wratterus (105) | ||

| 1365555 | 2014-01-20 02:59:00 | With the Nikons familiar to me - but I don't use video. Some of the lower end cannot do that. Like the D600, D7000 I think. You can adjust the aperture first but you cannot change it on the fly ie - if you are going from one area to the next and the lighting is different. | Nomad (952) | ||
