| 326278 | 2005-02-18 10:45:00 | Hey, Is anyone on 2mbit regardless of ISP getting sub-optimal performance from their connection? Both myself and my mate (who is on a different DSLAM & ISP) are both getting speeds of (from the test meter) of 880K/Bits to 1250K/Bits... This seems to have been going on for two or three days...? Anyone else experiencing this? Ash |

| 326282 | 2005-02-18 22:56:00 | Yep, I had the same problems with jetstream morning/afternoon (not the first time!). A router reset and a couple of reboots later it is going fine. I'm in Aucks too, so more likely at Telecom end than yours. | Shortcircuit (1666) | ||

| 326285 | 2005-02-19 00:45:00 | I've had days on xtra when I couldn't get anything at all. Once my brother explained about turning off/on the modem to reset it everything worked okay again. Mind you I don't have the big slow down, I'm only on the 3 gig 256k plan so if I want to download something I hardly notice the difference, expecially on file sharing where no one uploads at maximum speed anyway. Got 37 gig on the first month and 40 gig on the second. Hopefully this month will be more relaxed. :nerd: |

To test your internet feed speed (whoa, theres a rap, where is a lameass drum loop when you need one?) You have to download a specific file from a local(ish) server. Not too local of course. |
