326210 2005-02-18 09:56:00 Whats the diff, between File And Printer Sharing for MS Networks under the LAN properties, and File And Printer Sharing for MS Networks under the dialup properties on XP?? Anyone know?

Why have it twice under two different places??

326211 2005-02-18 10:41:00 No difference as to the function but LAN and Dialup are two different connections, hence the need to have the option to have them either enabled or disabled on the two connections. berryb (99)
326212 2005-02-18 18:46:00 Also, AFAIK/remember, if you set up a LAN with an ADSL router, then you never get to see any dialup properties anyway. So file/printer sharing would need to be in both places. Terry Porritt (14)
