| 326232 | 2005-02-18 18:50:00 | Hey. I have been running Kerio Personal Firewall 4 for some time now, and loving every minute of it. But lately it has started to forget network rules. It askes permission for programs that i have given net access long time ago. Even if i tell it to remember my setting it still askes the next time the program try to access to net. Whats with that?? Anybody got a clue? |

Anybody got a clue? That's interesting. I use version 2.1.5 on my main workhorse computer, but have version 4 on another, and it isn't used very much. But I had this feeling that I was being asked to approve rules that I had already set at some time. So maybe I should try un/re-installing as well and see what happens. |

If a programme has changed, KPF will ask for new rules to be applied depending on the level of security that's set. So, it could be an indication that you, or something else has changed a programme, could be. |

| 326237 | 2005-02-19 13:14:00 | Changes in programs are ok, even the program execution rules. Its only the network rules that it forgets.. and its damn annoying when im running full screen apps that need to connect to the net.. even if i have allowed it in the past, even if i manually allow it in the list, it still askes and freezes the whole app. GRRRRR!.. Im thinking, maybe its some config file that has reached its max size.. dunno. Have tried to remove entries that are not often used, but it seemed to have no effect. |
