You want to go back to Outlook just because you can't auto disconnect.
What is wrong with disconnecting manually.

I never use auto connect or auto disconnect, it is far more reliable to control these things manually.

326197 2005-02-20 07:42:00 Yeah we are only on 20 hours a month and we sometimes go over and Outlook Express was good because we knew that if we got distracted from the kids or something we would't forget to disconnect.

When we installed Thunder bird it wiped everything from Outlook Express and put it into Thunder bird and I was wondering how to move it back to Outlook Express. We went into OE and File ,Import but we didn't know where to go from there we want to transfer all our emails, address book etc.

my OS is Win XP
cheers :help: :@@:

326198 2005-02-20 07:46:00 ?? Importing something from somewhere else, doesnt remove it from the first program. If the info u want is still in TB, if it has an export feature for email etc, select that, and save it. Then import in OE / Outlook and import whatever format u saved in TB.. Speedy Gonzales (78)
