| 326018 | 2005-02-18 00:27:00 | Helllo I'm new to this forum looking for help with the ps2 i have and the tv tuner i want to connect it to. Well I have everything hooked up and the display is fine however i can't get sound from the game play... My Tv tuner consist of these jacks: AV In TV output Audio Output Remote Sensor (for remote control) S- Video Line My sound card is a Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live!, its fairly basic Microphone Speakers Line in and 1 more that i don't use. The Playstation 2 cables: AV Cables (audio/video) My question is how can i get sound from my PS2 to my tuner. I have already tried connecting the AV cable (yellow) of my ps2 to my tuner's AV IN jack but it doesn't work, and the audio output line from my Tuner is already occupied with the line in of my sound card but it doesn't play my sound for ps2 it only plays sound while watching tv.. So here is what I know, I have heard of Y adapters and splitters but i don't know which one i need. Would i have to get some other device etc that i'm missing.??Can someone help me please! |

Just disconnect the TV Audio while using the PS2 . Otherwise you may need to organise a change-over switch . Y adapters on Audio are not a good idea usually, will load the circuit and cause interference . |
