325996 2005-02-17 23:25:00 Hi,
Now I know this isnt that much of a problem but it annoys me. When I resize a window in windws explorer it goes back the first size after I close explorer. Im pretty sure that there is a kay you can hold when closing explorer windows to make their size saved but I cant remember what it is.
Can anyone help me solve this little annoyance?
Thanks.

325997 2005-02-18 00:01:00 Open the window

Resize to what you want

Hold Alt and close the window with the X at the top right

Reopen the window and it should be what you want

Are you sure it isn't CTRL or SHIFT?? I can never remember which so try them all. :p

A quick way to "maximise" the window is to right-click on the taskbar and choose "Tile windows horizontally". You need to ensure that you only have ONE window open when you do this trick otherwise it won't work. :)

326000 2005-02-18 03:25:00 I have just tried the other two and they seem to work as well. :badpc: Rob99 (151)
326001 2005-02-18 04:43:00 Heh, I just tried clicking on the red cross to close the window after stretching it out and the next time I opened it it retained its size. Didn't need ALT, CTRL or SHIFT. :D FoxyMX (5)
