| 326889 | 2005-02-20 21:57:00 | Im having trouble geting my laptop to charge. Sometimes when I plug it in the light that should turn orange to signal that it is charging doesnt turn on. The light that says that the computer is plugged in does turn on. I can get it to work again if i unplug it and replug it repeatedly. My laptop is a new Toshiba A-75. Just got it a few months ago. I tried to clean the battery with air, but it hasnt helped. Any suggestions? | Cstchie (7385) | ||

If it's not discharged, it doesn't need charging, and the intelligent controller in the battery will tell the computer that. So it won't charge it. ;) If you are using the computer on battery, so it is being discharged, take it to the shop. The sooner it's fixed the better. |
